Hilton Palacio del Rio

Nice hotel, the lobby is nice but rooms were only okay. Hilton Anatole in Dallas TX is the comparison. Service here is superb, better in comparison. Outside activities and being near the river walk is awesome, but for the price I expected more, construction is loud on the street during the day, Wallet was 59.00 a day and make sure you text 40min in advance for your vehicle. Someone we know had their car stolen from vallet but presuming they are parking it in a standard parking garage. Either way, enjoyed the stay simply because of the location. I wasn't here for the rooms anyway.

I did not have the pleasure of personally staying on property, but my parents did for their retirement celebration, and I wanted to surprise them with wine in their room upon arrival. The room service staff was incredible, specifically one of the managers Janete! She was so helpful in including a note for them, as well as efficient and communicative to let me know her team took care of it! She also had a wealth of recommendations for their stay!

Our stay was amazing, the staff… from dropping our car off with Jalen to Check-in and check out loading and unloading our cars and with all the street construction they really went out of their to make you feel comfortable and safe During our stay everyone was so nice and helpful and the Riverwalk never disappoints.

Visited during the holidays and stayed here with family. The location is fabulous and with the app I was able to secure parking for a nominal fee. Otherwise it's around $50, which is standard for hotels on the Riverwalk. We stayed on the highest floor and noise was not an issue at all. The Riverwalk view is gorgeous! It is nice they provide disposable earplugs, but they weren't needed. Unfortunately upon entry there was a strange smell and we had to move to a different room, this did not seem to be a big issue and we were taken care of quickly. The rooms were updated. They were not able to provide a late check out, but it may have been because The Alamo Bowl was that evening. Would recommend the location (5 stars), and it seemed pretty reasonable overall. I did not try any other amenities such as the gym, bar area or breakfast but the holiday decor was cute. There is a restaurant that is attached and food was pretty good when comparing it to other RW restaurants.

Very nice hotel, great staff, services. We felt very much taken care of there. Very friendly! Everything was within walking distance. We didn’t use our vehicle while we were there. We loved The River walk, Towers of America, boat cruise tour and for me the highlight was the viritual tour of the Titanic.

One night visit. Nice hotel. Very nice. I love balconies. Right on the river walk. Didn't try any amenities. Everything was clean. But the pillows...and sheets. Most American hotels have this problem. It smells like bad hair bo. I usually lay a towel over the pillows because it makes my hair stink. No one else notices it, so it might be me, but hotels in Europe don't smell like that. It might not be about the sheets , but the pillows themselves needing washing. Still, everything else was great. Very nice staff.

Great location. I visited this location many times in my Air Force career but, this was a first for me staying for a visit. Walk out the door and pictures in the lobby with their festive decorations was a must. Then, out the front door to the left the nice little boutique and historical area. Next, within 50 yards of the front door you're on the Riverwalk. Nice renovations in the rooms and hallways.
